Day1. Cochabamba – Torotoro National Park
In the morning we leave for the Toro Toro National park (5 hours drive with 3 on dirt road) which is full of places to discover. If we have time we can visit the small village Tarata which is famous for being the birthplace of two former Bolivian Presidents.
After lunch in the village of Toro Toro we visit El Vergel which is located about 3 ½ km from the village. We observe the Batea Q'ocha rock paintings and a beautiful rock water ravine. A bit further we enter the Chiflon Q’aqa caves where we can admire stalactites and stalagmites. Finally we arrive at El Vergel, also known as Waca Senqa, which is a waterfall with warm water which emerges in the middle of the Toro Toro canyon.
Before returning to the hotel we visit the dinosaur footprints at the Cerro Waylas and after dinner at the village the rest of the evening is free.
Day2. Torotoro National Park - Cochabamba
After breakfast we visit the dinosaur footprints at the Carreras Pampa and we continue towards the Umajalanta cave which is considered the biggest cave in Bolivia. We enter some 300m/985ft into the cave past stalactites and stalagmites and we end our tour at an underground lake with blind fish and waterfalls.
After a quick lunch in the village of Toro Toro we start our return to Cochabamba and upon arrival in Cochabamba the rest of the evening is free. End of our services
