Exploring Tourism in Bolivia

Uyuni Salt Flat

Hi there I booked with a company in La Paz - Lipiko Tours - and was really happy with my tour. We had a driver + an English speaking guide who was really good at explaining the different sights. We'd paid a bit extra to have better accommodation (not the really expensive ones - still reasonable) and it was well worth it - real mattresses and a hot shower!! The food was excellent....I'm very picky so I'd imagined I'd be living of Pringles for 3 days but here as well I was really impressed!! The car we had was very comfortable and recent - with room for your legs - and the driver both experienced and nice!! Speaking with other tourists travelling with other companies I was really happy we had chosen Lipiko Tours....because we didn't have anything to complain about!!! Woodstock2008

Lake Titicaca Tour

After finding this tour company I've just realised what a fantastic time I had with them. They run tours all over South America and I'd them without a doubt. Lipiko Tours. This is the first bit of advertising I've ever done on TA - They were great. So great I've uploaded a few pictures to their Facebook page. faceman01

Bolivia Tour

I can highly recommend Lipiko Tours as well! I spent a month in Bolivia with a friend in November - and we basically booked all of our tours with or through Lipiko. They were very professional, helpfull - and speaking to other travelers we met, it seemed we'd gotten some better trips than most. The most memorable trips were without a doubt to the amazing Salar de Uyuni (crosing the border to Chile, where we stayed for a few days) and to Rurrenabaque.... mhonnens

Pampa Estancia

Discovery Alert! Guardian Travel Readers Recommend Pampa Estancia! I was not surprised when Pampa Estancia was listed by Guardian Travel readers as one of the best ranch experiences in South America. Run by Lipiko Tours, one of our collection members in Rurrenabaque, Bolivia, Pampa Estancia is a fantastic tour that literally fulfills the childhood dream of millions: to be a cowboy for a week! So for all you kids out there who dreamed of ridding off into the crimson sunset, lasso in hand, this is your chance to realize this fantasy with a little Bolivian twist! By Karen Megarbane
